As we get older and more financially independent, it’s only natural that we want a look that matches our increasing mobility.
The luxury aesthetic is a great way to show the world that you’re confident and successful. But it’s not all about designer labels and expensive price tags.

With a few tweaks to your current wardrobe, some smart styling choices and some savvy shopping, you can easily create that look.
So if you want to up your fashion game and convey a great vibe, here’s how to do it.

1. Start with the shoes

When styling an outfit, it’s always a good idea to start with the shoes and work your way up.

Shoes are often the first statement piece that people notice. So it’s worth investing in a pair that you can base many of your outfits around.

For this reason, it’s a good idea to pick something that is comfortable, durable and versatile enough to be worn with a variety of outfits.

You’ll find some good examples when you shop for Solovair shoes on Maplestore. Other excellent brands include Christian Louboutin, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Chanel.

2. Power Suit

Along with your shoes, wearing a power suit is a fantastic way to rock the luxury aesthetic.

In the office, you’ll instantly command authority and respect and make a great impression on your colleagues, management and potential clients. You’ll also ‘look confident and successful and have a real presence.

Suits should be tailored to fit your body shape perfectly. Luxury suits are usually made from silk, cotton, cashmere, wool, mohair, linen or a combination of these materials.

If you can afford a new suit, Tom Ford, Ermenegildo Zegna, Giorgio Armani and Alexander McQueen are good choices.

3. Designer Sunglasses

No luxury outfit is complete without a pair of designer sunglasses.

Not only do they fulfil the important task of protecting you from the sun, but they also give you a sense of style and mystique that will definitely impress.

When it comes to sunglasses, you have the choice of many upmarket brands, including Balenciaga, Persol, Gucci and Michael Kors.

Sunglasses come in a variety of styles, including classic aviators, round frames, cat-eye frames and wrap-arounds. Just make sure you buy high quality glasses that offer 100% UV protection and flatter your face shape.

4. Monochrome

You may not have noticed, but being dressed from head to toe in a single colour can be a great way to create a luxurious aesthetic.

Not only does this avoid the problem of mixing and matching shades, it also allows you to wear your favourite pieces in a new, fresh way.

Grey, pink and white are all great options for a monochrome look that can be enhanced with luxury accessories to create a luxurious look.

5. Belt

A good belt not only emphasises your waist, but can also instantly transform the look of a pair of trousers, shorts or a dress into something proper.

Belts are also associated with authority, power and status. They are a great way to breathe new life into your existing wardrobe.

Black leather is traditionally worn by those who want to rock the luxury aesthetic, although the size will depend on your waits.

As a general rule of thumb for women, if you have a long body, wide belts should be worn around the narrowest part of your waist. This will emphasise your silhouette, shorten your body and create an hourglass-shaped figure.

If you have a short waist, you should wear a narrow belt, as a wider belt will make your body appear shorter.

Cartier, Gucci, Veneta Cinture and Prada all make excellent belts that you can make a statement with when you wear them.

6. Jewellery

A surefire way to create a luxurious aesthetic is to wear fine jewellery.

Introducing earrings, rings, bracelets or necklaces can breathe new life into even the dullest of outfits. So don’t be afraid to wear something with diamonds, pearls, gold or silver if the occasion calls for it.

When it comes to jewellery, less definitely has a bigger impact. If you are wearing a handful of rings that do not match, you will not be able to showcase yourself properly.

Plus, wearing them over a long period of time can be bad for your circulation.

7. Lipstick

If you want to make your outfit look luxurious, you should have some high-quality lipsticks to hand.

These little luxuries can give you an instant confidence boost and enhance your overall look so that you catch people’s attention.

Brands such as Dawes Customs Cosmetics, Christian Louboutin and Polo Ralph Lauren are great choices if you want to add that little something extra to your look. Don’t be afraid to choose a bold colour for maximum impact.
