This notice explains how The Fashion Globe, published by FG Creative Media Ltd. (Company No. 13420460), uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, and how you can control them.
We do not use advertising or affiliate cookies. We use analytics only if you agree to it.
2. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a website you visit. Cookies are used to remember preferences or to collect information about how the site is used. Some cookies are set by the website itself; others are set by third-party services the website uses.
This notice also covers similar technologies, such as scripts that send information about your visit to another service, or information a service stores in your browser.
3. Cookies We Use
3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies keep the website secure and remember your choices. The law allows them without consent, and we use them for no other purpose.

3.2 Statistics Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand which articles are read and how readers find them, so that we can improve the publication. Google provides Google Analytics and processes this data on our behalf under its data processing terms.
Google Analytics is loaded only after you select “Accept”. Until then, and if you reject, no Google Analytics code runs on your device and nothing is sent to Google Analytics.
When you accept, Google Analytics records the pages you visit, how long you spend on them and how you arrived, whether you scroll to near the end of a page (about 90% of the way down), links to other websites you follow, files you download, and when you start or submit a form (Google states that it does not collect what you type into forms). It records that you viewed search results, but we have set it not to record what you searched for. It also records your device type, browser and operating system, and your country and region.
We have set up Google Analytics to collect less and to keep its use limited:
- It is not linked to any advertising service, and Google signals and advertising personalisation are switched off.
- The optional settings that would let Google use our Analytics data for benchmarking, recommendations or its own products are switched off.
- Location is recorded at country and region level rather than town or city, and detailed device information, such as device model and screen resolution, is switched off.
- We do not set up Google Analytics to receive your name, email address or any account identifier.
Some page addresses can contain information about you. Links in our newsletter emails carry a subscriber code, and search pages contain what you typed. To keep these out of Google Analytics, it does not run on our newsletter confirmation, unsubscribe and subscription-management pages, those pages do not pass their address on to the next page you open, search pages do not show your search in the page title, and Google Analytics is set to remove email addresses, search terms and subscriber codes from the page addresses it records.
Google Analytics deletes detailed records of visits 14 months after they are collected. Separately, information linked to your browser’s Analytics identifier is kept until 14 months after your most recent visit: each new visit restarts that period for the identifier, but it does not extend how long earlier visit records are kept. Google Analytics’ standard reports are built from aggregated data and are not deleted under these settings; they show totals, such as how many readers an article had.

3.3 Embedded Videos
Some older articles include YouTube videos. A video is not loaded until you press Play. Until then, the embedded video itself makes no requests to YouTube or its associated Google services.
When you press Play, the video loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced service (youtube-nocookie.com). The video player then connects to YouTube and other Google services to deliver the video, and may store information on your device, such as player settings. These connections are made by the video player alone and are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. Playing a video does not load Google Analytics or change your analytics choice. You can also watch any video directly on YouTube instead.
3.4 Fonts
Our typefaces are supplied by Adobe Fonts. To display them, your browser requests the font files from Adobe.
According to Adobe’s privacy statement for Adobe Fonts (last updated 5 November 2021), Adobe does not set or use cookies to serve its fonts. Adobe states that it receives your IP address so that it knows where to deliver the fonts, but does not store it. Adobe also records information about the fonts served, including the fonts used, our web project and account identifiers and the hostname of the website loading them. Adobe says it uses this for billing and compliance, to provide the service and diagnose delivery problems, and to pay the font foundries whose fonts are used. Adobe’s statement is available at adobe.com/privacy/policies/adobe-fonts.html.
If you prefer, you can read the site in standard fonts instead, using the button below. Your browser will then make no requests to Adobe, and text appears in a typeface already on your device, such as Georgia. We remember this choice in your browser until you change it or clear your browser’s data for this site.
If JavaScript is turned off, or your browser does not allow this site to store information, we show standard fonts automatically and your browser makes no requests to Adobe.
4. Managing Your Preferences
When you first visit this website, a banner lets you accept or reject statistics cookies. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the site works fully either way.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser and stop loading Google Analytics. We remember your choice for 30 days, after which we ask again.
You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. For guidance, refer to your browser’s help documentation.
5. Changes to This Notice
We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with a revised effective date. The current version is effective from 20 October 2026 and supersedes all previous versions.
