GENEVA, Switzerland — “I came up with my business idea thanks to my genuine passion for jewellery. I wanted to create something revolutionary and innovative in this luxury segment, so I thought, why not transforming one of the most important accessories in our daily lives, the mobile phone, into a modern piece of fine jewellery for women?”. These are the words of Alessandro Savelli, the mastermind behind the new, innovative luxury brand recently launched during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.

SAVELLI is the first luxury mobile phone conceived as a precious piece of jewellery, the ultimate in luxury smartphone technology. It is made of treasured metals and precious materials such as carefully selected diamonds cut in the “snow setting” jewellery technique, feminine 18 carat rose gold, Ultra Bombé sapphire crystals for the screen, hi-tech non-scratchable ceramics and exotic leathers “wrapped” by specialised ateliers. Thus, this smartphone becomes a tech yet fashionable daily tool that mingles Swiss handcraftsmanship with a touch of Italian elegance.

Every piece of SAVELLI’s début collection, Jardin Secret, is designed according to fine Italian taste featuring leit motif, synonymous with sensual sinuosity  — every curve is inspired by the Line of Grace, an aesthetic concept of timeless beauty and femininity creating a slender S.

The collection consist of 11 models, divided into 3 categories: Elégante, for a contemporary and eye-catching style priced from 6,900 Euros to 7,500 Euros (Python, Blue Jeans Ostrich and Black Sport); Précieuse, made of four particularly refined models (Emerald Iguana, Classic Caramel, White Ice and Ardent Red); and Merveilleuse, the ultimate pieces priced up to 90,000 Euros (Diamond Rain, Diamond Night, Champagne Diamonds and Black Insane which is set with 75 baguette-cut diamonds).

SAVELLI boasts touchscreen smartphone technology powered by Google Android operating system, with the most popular applications preloaded. Its unique application “My Jardin Secret” is customised and, among other services, uses the customer’s personal preferences and live location to provide information about news, events and experiences that are of interest to its users.

By using GPS technology we pro-actively send SAVELLI users relevant information to their mobile device, explains Savelli.

The ringtones are exclusive to the brand and are created by one of the most popular French DJ and music artist, Stephane Pompougnac, who has played in prestigious Parisian clubs and is now resident DJ at Hotel Costes.

The first collection, currently sold in avant-première in the most important department stores throughout Europe including Printemps Haussmann in Paris and Harrods in London, was celebrated with an exclusive launch event for over 400 guests at the Jacquemart-Andre Museum in Paris at the beginning of July 2013.

The début advert campaign starring the elegant Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, daughter of fashion icon Carine Roitfeld, is shot by Patrick Demarchelier, one of the world’s most famous fashion and portrait photographers. On the reason why Julia Restoin-Roitfeld was chosen as the muse of the House, Savelli explains: “Julia is synonym of elegance, feminine beauty and fashion credibility. Besides that she is a friend and she is very passionate about the brand and the products”.
